Spark plug gap on 99 ford 2.0 contour?

I have a contour and the owners manual says the gap on the plugs should be 1.3mm , now when I go online to StrussAuto Advanced Auto and the rest even FORD they say my plugs should be gapped at0.050 ... preplexed! I I am a seconed owner and doing the first tunup. THANKA IN ADVANCE !
