I'm interested in become a video game tester, but how would I start?

Yeah so...I hate my job as a cashier for a supermarket, but I love playing video games more than anything and am very interested in becoming a professional video game tester, however, I'm completely lost as to how to start the chase for this dream of mine. Does anybody know how testers get their start?
