Cross-dresser buying clothes.?

Ok, I'm sixteen, I still live with my family and I'm a cross-dresser. My problem is that I'm not too sure how to go about buying female attire. i haven't confined in any female friends to buy them for me, recently I went into a department store and purchased a pair of ugg boots (fake) and even for something that small I received a few stares. Help?
