How can i get my white leghorn hens to like me?

or to be friendly. i had many research on white leghorns but they said its noisy, unfriendly (doesnt like the presence of humans), flighty ect ect. so im afraid that someday my 5 1 week old chicks will run away from me when i go to their place and also they might get lost bec. i live in an urban place. i hope that u have good answers, all are appreciated. thanks. :)
