How do I get these rumors to stop?

OK So my boyfriend (The sweetest most romantic guy ever!) won my heart by sending me anonymous poems and flowers everyday for months, then inviting me for dinner at his house, confessing his profound love of 5 years for me, buying me earrings with my birthstones on them, admitting to having written the poems and serenading me. DUH I said yes! But anyway, because he's rich and he gives me all these presents, people keep saying I'm a gold-digger and I only like him for his money. That's not true! I love him because of how sweet and smart and nice and HOT he is! Is there a way to get these to stop please? Thanks for helping.
