If youve read appolonius of rhodes, voyago of argo... i need help!?

Medea helped Jason to steal the golden fleece. Aetes wa Jason's uncle who had killed Jason's father and usurped the throne and also married Jason's mother. There was a prophesy that a one sandal man would kill him(Aetes) So when Jason shows up with one sandal all hell breaks lose. Jason Makes a deal with Aetes. If he gets him the fleece Aetes would give him back his throne. Aetes was absolutely certain that this was a one way trip. The rest is 'mythology' so to speak.
