Why Archie Andrews is .........?

The first is pretty obvious while Archie may have all those defects he is also generous, kind hearted, spirited, energetic, well mannered, loyal,romantic (to some extent) yada yada etc....this is all in the fictional sense atleast. Otherwise the answer is plain and simple Archie is the main character in his comic series and thus ergo everything centers around him and his life. In addition Betty and Veronica are Archie's childhood friends its obvious why they like him so much (they know him better than anyone else), they look past defects 1 to 6. And lastly in comparison to other characters in the comic (reggie, jughead, moose, dilton etc) he is considered normal-ish. 2nd question i suggest you visit the archie comics website...3rd same as above.
